I've known you for weeks
Yet it feels like Ive loved you for years
I barely know your name and face
Yet I long to know your soul
Everyone seems to think my love
Is simple infatuation
They don't know that my feelings are so complex
Every time we talk your eyes give me butterflies
But all I hear from my so called friends
"Youre too good for her"
"What makes her so Special?"
They can't comprehend
That my feelings run so deep
My feelings are all that I have left
In this forsaken world
She made some mistakes
Don't we all?
She caused some trouble
Don't we all?
I'm not looking for a perfect girl
Because I'm not looking for a stereotype
I'm looking for someone
Who goes against the grain
I've found her
Yet no matter how simple
Or complex my reasoning becomes
You people
You so called "friends"
Think I can still to better
Then wonder why I laugh at your so called "logic"
I may not have the perfect girl
But with the one I barely know
Things can be prefect
In my own little world
